In this presentation we focused on issues of challenges of IOL Power calculation in pediatric cataract surgery, particularly when the patient is very young or poorly cooperative. Preoperative assessment of Keratometric readings by hand held keratometer, IOP measurement, axial length by immersion and contact ultrasound biometry under generalanaesthesia is displayed .This interactive video also demonstrates Iol power calculation by ultrasound biometry, partial coherence based optical biometry and swept source biometry by IOL master 700.This video also highlights tips for determination of whether the child is a good candidate for IOL implantation, and if so, a determination of the optimal IOL style and power.Since the greatest changes in axial length and refractive change will occur for children under 5 years of age so estimation of correct predicted IOL Power is must and inaccuracies can be is curtailed by adopting correct methodology.
