Background: Endophthalmitis is an inflammation of the interior structures of the eye predominantly due to infection. Post operative Endophthalmitis is one of the most common type of endophthalmitis cataract surgery being the most common cause. Other causes include vitreoretinal surgeries, glaucoma surgeries, intravitreal injections, corneal surgeries.Traumatic endophthalmitis is known as the endophthalmitis occurring following ocular trauma. Even after a lot of development and research in treatment, it still instills dread and fear in the minds of the treating surgeons.
Method: We are here presenting a video series comparing the various presentations seen in post operative and traumatic endophthalmitis, variation in surgical techniques and visual outcome following management.
Conclusion: The visual outcome in cases post operative Endophthalmitis is comparatively better than the traumatic ones.
