Dr.Birendra Prasad Kashyap, K02624

Ophthalmologists still debate the usefulness for Femto Second Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery ( FLACS ). In our view, FLACS is here to stay.

You can not sleep over the results of initial phase of FLACS platforms.

You can not decide the efficacy by doing few surgeries only.

It has a definite learning curve.

With the newer software and hardware in machine, FLACS is doing wonders. As surgeon’s point of view, the docking and the patient interface remains the most crucial steps.

After doing more than 400 cases, we want to share our experience and GUIDE FOR GOOD DOCKING.

After a good docking, the rest of the procedure take less time and makes other steps easier.

Our presentation will be assisted by videos in different situations and how to overcome these problems .
