Glaucoma is a third leading cause of blindness in our country.Mainstay in treating glaucoma patients is medical therapy.There are several challenges in medical treatment which includes selecting right drug,assessing efficacy and safety in your patient,dealing with side effects,ensuring quality of life and focusing on compliance and adherence. In selecting drug there are too may issue to be considered like damaging IOP,target IOP,systemic disease patient have,any special situation encountered etc.During the course of follow up we need to know if any additional therapy is required? Than when to add what to add or switch to other drug and role of combination therapy are of paramount importance.Medical therapy is evolving rapidly new molecules Rho Kinase inhibitors is already available in some country ,to share knowledge about this upcoming drug and initial experience in Indian patients would will be presented.Use of generic drugs is a big debate a scientific perspective will be presented.
