Ocular trauma is one of the major cause of blindness in the country. These conditions are sight threatening and require emergent recognition,treatment to preserve vision. Patient’s expectations are unrealistic,when they bear high costs for these complex surgeries .Ocular Trauma goes beyond the boundaries of the anterior and posterior segments.We should have a comprehensive view to tackle complex problems .The course will focus on the presentation, pathogenesis and management of the common manifestation of ocular trauma that may present to any ophthalmologist, comprehensive or subspecialist. This course will be a video based presentation where the tips and tricks of managing these cases will be discussed. At the conclusion of this course the attendees should be able to handle these trauma cases with greater ease and confidence ,and provide emergent treatment .The attendees will also learn the pearls to safe practices on medico legal issues.
